Jeon Do-yeon Exposes Yoo Jae-suk’s Past “Full of Pride Without Hard Work + It’s Amazing How Different He Is Now”
On July 27th, the YouTube channel “Ddeun Ddeun” uploaded a video titled “Connections are Just an Excuse | EP.52”, featuring actresses Jeon Do-yeon and Lim Ji-yeon from the movie “Revolver”.
During the show, Yoo Jae-suk asked, “Is there a moment you’d like to return to if you had a time machine?” Jeon Do-yeon replied, “I’ve gone through tough times and various experiences, but I don’t feel the need to go back. Once is enough.”
Caught off guard, Yoo Jae-suk asked, “Don’t you want to go back to make investments? Knowing what you know now, you could invest or buy coins.” Jeon Do-yeon humorously responded “Are you that greedy? I didn’t expect this from you“, making everyone laugh.
Yoo Jae-suk shared, “If I could go back, I’d return to my twenties and tell myself, ‘Get your act together. Study more and don’t be so lazy.’ I’d also like to tell (Jeon) Do-yeon, ‘Let’s be friends.’ If I had known we’d meet in the entertainment industry like this…” Jeon Do-yeon and Yoo Jae-suk are classmates from the 1991 batch of Seoul Institute of the Arts.
Jeon Do-yeon then pointed at Yoo Jae-suk and said “I think you might regret it. I worked really hard, but there was someone who didn’t“, referring to Yoo Jae-suk.
She continued “Even our professor said so, calling him ‘a student who has nothing but pride’. Hearing that was truly satisfying“, causing everyone to laugh.
Yoo Jae-suk, surprised, responded, “Why did the professor tell you that instead of me?” He added, “When I told the professor I wanted to be a comedian, he suggested waiting a bit longer and gaining more education first. I said ‘Yes, I understand’ but didn’t follow through.“
Jeon Do-yeon remarked “It’s amazing how different you are now. When I asked the professor ‘Was I like that too?’, he said, ‘You’re the same now as you were then.’ So I think I’d be the same even if I went back. People who have many regrets want to return to the past“, showcasing her sharp wit.
